SIP Explained
SIP automatically sanitises POU or Bottled Coolers overnight by injecting tiny bubbles of Ozone (O3) into the water tank. Ozone, created from Oxygen, is nature’s strongest Oxidising Agent which destroys Bacteria. Ozone occurs naturally, after a thunderstorm for instance. Ozone creation/Sanitising takes place at 03.00 am (time can be changed) for 10 minutes, after which the unstable Ozone reverts back to Oxygen. SIP has been tested and approved by the UK/European Water Cooler Trade Associations and accepted to reduce the need for additional Sanitising by 50% to once every 12 months for POU and twice every 12 months for Bottled Cooler.
SIP “Sleep Mode” can be activated to turn the Cooler off overnight. 12 hours “Sleep Mode” from 19.00 to 07.00 will save a significant amount of Electricity and reduce your customers Carbon Footprint.
